The honest part

You are not slow.
Your stack is.

You open a spreadsheet. You open a carrier portal. You open the customs broker's PDF rate card. You open Outlook, then the TMS, then QuickBooks, then the BOL generator, then Slack to ask an ops teammate for a PRO number. You do this for every single quote.

Meanwhile the shipper who emailed you at 9:14 AM is already at lunch with another forwarder. Nine out of ten shippers expect a quote inside two hours, yet industry survey data puts most manual quoting at six or more.

  • 15–30
    disconnected systems

per mid-market freight forwarder, reportedly draining up to 20–30% of annual revenue through poor data quality.

    Source: Logi-Sys, 2024

  • $100–$400
    per container per day

in demurrage and detention fees, frequently discovered 30+ days later on the carrier invoice.

    Source: FreightAmigo, 2025

  • 3–7%
    of freight spend, leaking

on carrier invoice errors rarely reconciled manually. For a $10M forwarder, that's $300K–$700K a year.

    Source: Freightify, 2025

  • $500K · $1M
    per ITAR violation

civil and criminal exposure, per incident. Forwarders are now compliance gatekeepers by statute, not neutral carriers.

The tools most mid-market operators have either weren't built for them — they were built for companies ten times their size — or were spun up from a spreadsheet five years ago. Neither is good enough anymore.

Here is what changes on Monday

You open one tab.
The AI opens everything else.

LogisticsPrizm is a purpose-built TMS for mid-market freight forwarders, 3PLs, NVOCCs, and customs brokers. Quote generation, live tracking, invoice reconciliation, compliance screening, and financials — one platform, one data model, one monthly bill. No implementation partners. No add-on modules. No surprises at renewal.

01 · Quote
Under a minute, not six hours.

The engine reads your historical rates, pulls live carrier pricing, applies the right surcharges, and drafts a quote your rep can review — while they're still reading the RFQ.

02 · Track
Every milestone, every mode.

Ocean, air, rail, road, intermodal. Carrier webhook and polling adapters normalize into one event stream. The customer portal shows the same truth your ops team sees.

03 · Recover
Invoice leakage, flagged.

Every carrier invoice is matched line-by-line against the quote and your rate card. Variance above the threshold is flagged before the invoice is paid.

What's actually in the box

Nine capabilities most operators buy separately —
and duct-tape together.

Every module listed below is implemented in the platform today. Production readiness varies by module — we'll walk you through maturity and roadmap on the demo. Everything above the Solo tier is included in every plan; no paid add-ons.

AI Quote Engine

Sub-minute structured quote generation

pgvector retrieves the ten most-similar historical quotes; GPT-4o composes a line-item breakdown — base freight, fuel, BAF, documentation, customs, insurance — which your rep reviews before sending.

Unified Rate Engine

Contracts + FAK + surcharges + spot in one index

Upload a carrier rate card once. Every quote after that is one query against the merged lane-mode-date-container search index. Replaces the "let me check the spreadsheet" step.

Live Shipment Tracking

Ocean, air, road, rail, intermodal — one event stream

Carrier webhook and polling adapters normalize into 13 canonical event types. The customer portal and admin view read the same timeline in real time over WebSockets.

Invoice Reconciliation

Line-item matching against quote + rate card

OCR extracts each line from the carrier invoice. The engine matches against your rate card and the original quote and flags variance above ±5% before anyone pays.

Demurrage & Detention Radar

Free-time alerts at 48 / 24 / 2 hours

Free-time windows tracked per container. Alerts fire via email, push, and Slack. Designed to give your team a chance to act before the meter starts.

ITAR Compliance Workflow

Defense-grade audit trail, built in

Denied-party screening against OFAC, BIS Entity List, DTAG, EU consolidated, UK HMT, and UN sanctions. Every screen, resolution, and document access is logged. Row-Level Security isolates tenants at the database layer.

RAG Chatbot & AI Search

Knowledge-base Q&A with citations

Your SOPs, rate guides, Incoterms — embedded and retrievable in seconds. The support bot answers with cited sources so your team handles the exceptions.

Lead Scoring (6-factor)

A 0–100 pipeline signal

Revenue, industry fit, engagement, source quality, shipment volume, and recency — combined into a single score you can sort and filter by.

Financials Module

Margin by shipment, lane, customer, carrier

User-editable fee schedules and tax rates. Every transaction persists its fees and taxes at booking. Aging, DSO, cash flow, and top-customer views drillable by any time range.

The math, honestly

Industry numbers you can look up.
Product targets we can measure.

LogisticsPrizm is pre-launch — we don't have customer testimonials to publish yet, and we won't make any up. Here is where the industry stands today and what we've built to change it.

of freight spend, typically leaked to invoice errors

The invoice-reconciliation engine is designed to surface that waste per-shipment. For a $10M forwarder that's $300K–$700K a year.

Quick math, not a sales pitch

What would even 3% of your freight spend cover?

If you move $5M/year, that's $150K. Our Growth plan is $4,788/year billed annually. We'll help you model the reconciliation recovery on your actual lanes during the demo — no magic numbers, just your invoices.

Model the ROI with us

The moat most TMS vendors avoid

ITAR-ready.
From the first screen.

US Customs fines start at $10,000 per violation. ITAR violations start at $500,000 civil and $1,000,000 criminal, per incident. Your freight forwarder is now a compliance gatekeeper by law — not a neutral carrier.

Every other mid-market TMS treats compliance as an enterprise upsell. We bake it in at Professional and Enterprise tiers, with the audit trail an investigator actually wants.

  • 01
    Denied-party screening

OFAC SDN, BIS Entity List, DTAG, EU consolidated, UK HMT, UN sanctions. Every shipper, consignee, and carrier screened at booking. Block at 0.85 match confidence.

  • 02
    HS code classification with citations

AI proposes top-five candidates with confidence scores and chapter rationale. Human review flagged when confidence < 0.6 or the gap between top candidates is narrow.

  • 03
    Tamper-evident audit trail

Every quote, screening result, document access, role change, and status update is logged with actor, IP, user-agent, and before/after JSONB diff. Row-Level Security isolates tenants at the database layer.

  • 04
    US-only inference option

Flip one toggle on ITAR-flagged cargo and AI runs on your on-prem Mistral via localhost Ollama — no data leaves your infrastructure.

What ops leaders actually ask

Frequently asked, honestly answered.

01 Is this product live today? +
LogisticsPrizm is in Founding Customer onboarding. The platform is fully built — authentication, AI quoting, tracking, invoice reconciliation, compliance screening, and financials are all operational. We are intentionally limiting the first cohort so every customer gets hands-on help from the team. If you'd like to be part of that cohort, book a demo and we'll scope a pilot together.
02 We already use CargoWise. Do we have to rip it out? +
No. Most mid-market forwarders we talk to want to run LogisticsPrizm alongside their existing TMS first, starting with the pieces CargoWise and Descartes price out of reach — AI quoting, invoice reconciliation, lead scoring, ITAR workflow. If and when you want to migrate fully, that happens on your timeline.
03 How long does onboarding take? +
Solo and Growth: self-serve, you can be creating real quotes the same day. Professional: a structured 2–3 week onboarding with a dedicated contact. Enterprise: 4–6 weeks to include data migration, SSO, and carrier integrations. We do not quote six-month rollouts because we do not take six months.
04 Our carriers don't support webhooks. Now what? +
Same answer as the rest of the industry: we poll their tracking APIs on a schedule and normalize into one event stream. For carriers that only send EDI, a lightweight adapter sits in between. The customer-facing timeline looks identical whichever path the data came in through.
05 Where does our data live? Who can see it? +
Primary data resides in US-based VPS infrastructure with daily encrypted backups to a secondary region. Every tenant is isolated at the database layer with Row-Level Security — not just application code. For ITAR customers, AI inference can run on a US-only Ollama instance; cargo descriptions do not leave your network.
06 Can the AI quote use rates we've negotiated? +
Yes — that is what the Rate Card editor is for. Upload your NAC, FAK, or spot agreements, tag them by lane and mode, and the engine uses them first before consulting spot-market data. It is your pricing discipline, automated.
07 What happens if the AI gets a quote wrong? +
Every AI-generated quote shows its confidence score and the similar historical quotes it used as references. Your rep reviews both before the quote goes out. Quotes below a configurable confidence threshold are flagged for manual review. The AI augments; it does not autopilot.
08 Do you integrate with QuickBooks / NetSuite / Sage? +
Journal entries, A/R aging reports, and invoice batches can be exported on a schedule to all three. A direct QuickBooks Online sync is on the near-term roadmap; Professional and Enterprise customers can request priority scheduling.
09 Pricing seems low. What's the catch? +
No catch. Our infrastructure is bare-metal, not a cloud reseller, and we do not charge per shipment because per-shipment pricing punishes customer growth. Founding Customer pricing (40% off first year) is limited to the first cohort and ends Q3 2026.

A note from the team

Why we built this.

Talk to ten mid-market freight forwarders and you will hear ten variations on the same problem. Enterprise TMS vendors quote six-month implementations and five-figure monthly bills. The cloud-native “disruptors” assume you already have a full-stack engineer. Spreadsheets are everywhere.

In the middle of all that is an operator trying to respond to an RFQ before the shipper takes lunch with a competitor. Nobody was building software for that operator on a realistic budget, so we did.

LogisticsPrizm is pre-launch and we are picky about who we onboard first. We would rather have twenty Founding Customers we can actually help than two hundred we can't. If the pitch above resonates, the demo is twenty minutes and we load your own lanes into a sandbox beforehand. You decide the rest.
